Laura Cortés Hesselbach

Laura Cortés Hesselbach is the Director of SOMA in Mexico City, a role she has held since 2019, overseeing the institution’s strategic vision, academic programs, and international collaborations. With over a decade of experience in contemporary art and cultural management, she has collaborated extensively with artists, curators, and educators to shape public programs, residencies, and pedagogical initiatives, strengthening collaborative practices, educational engagement, and cultural exchange.
