Artist
Louise Lawler
Lives in New York, USA
The American artist emerged during the 70s as part of the Pictures Generation of artists, but established her signature style during the 80s, when she begun to take pictures of other artists’ works around museums, galleries and art spaces. At the same time, her practice is characterised by the process of constantly re-present or restage her works. In addition to pictures and installations, the artist produced several gallery announcements, posters, magazine covers and matchbooks.
