Letizia Elia

Letizia Elia, Basel-born and raised, is CEO of Basel Tourism since September 2022. Previously, she was member of the Executive Board at Switzerland Tourism. Elia began her career at MCH Group, becoming Deputy Director of the Congress Center Basel. She studied languages and is a qualified translator and holds an MBA in Business Administration. She is dedicated to promoting Basel as a sustainable and dynamic tourism destination, with a focus on both the leisure and convention sectors. Under her leadership, Basel aims to enhance its international profile, with an emphasis on arts, culture, and architecture.
