Lumturi Blloshmi

Lumturi Blloshmi was born in Tirana in 1944, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana in 1968. The artist, who passed away due to Covid-19 in 2020,  was a universe in continuous transformation, and her works, almost in series, are a powerful vortex of energy. Blloshmi experimented with paintings made “en plain air”, symbolic compositions, photographs, collages and performances. She represented Albania with a posthumous pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale in 2022.
