Taus Makhacheva
Born in Russia, 1983 and lives in Moscow, Russia and Makhachkala
Taus Makhacheva is a contemporary Russian artist that lives and works between Moscow and Makhachkala. She attended the Goldsmith College in London, where she took her Bachelor Degreee, and afterwards she took a MFA in Fine Arts from the Royal College of Art, in London. In 2014 Taus Makhacheva won the Future of Europe prize at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Leipzig, and in 2012 she received the Innovation Prize, the Russian state award for contemporary art in Moscow, the ‘New Generation’ category, for her project The Fast and The Furious.
