Mar Coyol

Mar Coyol is a queer, anti-speciesist artist born in the State of Mexico. His research focuses on the relationship between body, gender and image, with a particular interest in dissident practices, queer culture, the construction of masculinity and transfeminine experiences.

At present, his creative process involves generating safe and pleasurable spaces, as well as conversations, gatherings and forms of collaboration among LGBTTQI+ collectives. His projects unfold across various media, including video, painting, photography and 2D/3D animation.
