Marija Teresė Rožanskaitė

Marija Teresė Rožanskaitė was a Lithuanian modernist artist. She painted thematic compositions, primarily focusing on the subjects of medicine, human health, and physical suffering. The work of Rožanskaitė is associated with avant-garde art. It is characterized by conceptualism, an unusual combination of human figures and technical mechanisms (medical devices), compositions, combinations of photorealism and abstract spaces, and geometric initiations, with a small but intense color palette.
