Marta Barina
Marta Barina is a gallerist, curator, and creative producer. She graduated in Fine Arts from the University of the Arts London and spent ten years in London working at leading galleries such as White Cube and David Zwirner. She later directed the studio of internationally renowned artist Oscar Murillo, managing his team and global exhibition programme.
In 2020, she founded Mare Karina, initially a nomadic project with exhibitions in London, Spain, Tuscany, Milan, and Salento. In April 2024, Mare Karina opened its permanent space in Venice, in the Castello district. Today, Mare Karina operates as both a gallery and a cultural production studio, collaborating with artists and clients internationally. With an international outlook and an experimental approach, Marta contributes to shaping and innovating Venice’s contemporary cultural landscape.
