Marta Boscolo Marchi

Born in Chioggia, 1975 and lives in Padua

Marta Boscolo Marchi graduated from the University of Bologna and obtained a postgraduate diploma in History of Art and minor arts at the University of Padua. In 1999 he won a scholarship from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for research on the Last Judgment in Byzantine frescoes in Cyprus at the Cyprus Department of Antiquities.

As a freelance art historian, she dealt with cataloguing for the Dioceses of Padua and Venice, computerization of the restoration archive for the Superintendence of Eastern Veneto and cataloguing of the photographic collection Luciano Fincato for the same Superintendency.

Since 2012 he has been an official art historian at the Ministry of Culture. Since 2015 he has been director of the Oriental Art Museum for which she is also responsible for the catalogue office and the historical archive.
