Born in Araçatuba, 1970. and lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Jorge Menna Barreto is a visual artist, translator, professor, educator and critic. He obtained MFA and PHD in Fine Arts from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Presently doing a post-doctoral research at UDESC on the relationship between agroecology and site-specific practices in art.
