Beatriz Monteavaro

For several years Monteavaro has been exploring ideas of alienation and hybridization. As a Cuban refugee, Monteavaro has lived in the marginal.
Through the examination of the pulp culture of the 40s, 50s, and 60s, and the punk rock music scene of the late 70‘s, Beatriz has discovered a conduit through which to explore these ideas.
