Monica Mora de Mendoza

Monica Mora, together with her husband Javier Mora, started collecting Pre-Colombian artifacts/art in Venezuela. It did not take much time for them to realise their passion for Contemporary art which leads to the collection they have today. During the 80s and the 90s, the collection was mainly acquired by the two of them. Their family collection includes works by Jonas Wood, Leah Glenn, Sadie Benning, Math Bass, Soto, Nara, Murakami, Olafur Eliasson, Mark Grotjahn, Harold Ancart, Orozco, Sterling Ruby, Jim Hodges, Anselm Keifer, Mark Bradford, Rashid Johnson, Barbara Kruger, Keith Haring, Dahn Vo, Joe Bradley, Florian Maier-Aachen.
