Nameer Qassim

Born in Jerusalem, 1984

Nameer Qassim was born in Jerusalem in 1984. She obtained her BA in 2007 from Al-Quds University, and majored in arts. Namir participated in many group art shows. Most prominent were: A charity dinner in Jordan that was sponsored by Queen Rania of Jordan, and aimed to collect donations for Al Quds University students. Nameer’s work was chosen as the best art work in the event, and was gifted to the Queen (2004/Jordan) Jerusalem Artists Show. In this show, Nameer’s work “Patriarchal Society” was chosen as one of the top five paintings in the show. The Greek Cultural Week Show, which took place in The Palestinian National Theater, and in the courtyard of the Church of Nativity.  She participated in designing and drawing the wall painting of Yabous Culutral Centre in Jerusalem, as part of the Jerusalem Festival 2011
