Eduardo Navarro
Born in Buenos Aires, 1979 and lives in Buenos Aires
Eduardo Navarro studied at the workshop of Sergio Bazan in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2002-2003; the Program for the Visual Arts at CCRR – UBA/Guillermo Kuitca in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2003-2005; and the workshop of Fabian Marcachio Malba in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2005. He has also held residencies at the Showhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhagan, Maine, in 2006, and Apsex Contemporary Art in Portsmouth, UK, in 2007. Selected solo exhibitions include La Laguna at Daniel Abate Galeria in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2008); Hotel Expressionismat Frederieke Taylor Gallery in New York (2008); Childrens’ Jail at Balin House Projects in London (2007); and Dibujos at Belleza y Felicidad in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2004). Selected group exhibitions include Magic at Frankfurter Kunstverein in Frankfurt, Germany; Kunsthalle in Bern, Switzerland; Marco Vigo in Barcelona, Spain; and ICA in London (2008); From Confrontation to Intimacy at the American Society in New York (2007); In The Viewing Room at Frederike Taylor Gallery in New York (2007); and Expansion at Dallas Contempoary Arts in Dallas, Texas (2007). Eduardo Navarro lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
