Paola Bonani

Paola Bonani is a junior curator at the Azienda Speciale Palaexpo and holds a PhD in Contemporary Art History. Between 2001 and 2003, she worked at the Futurism Study Centre at MART in Rovereto. She has collaborated on numerous exhibitions and publications on 20th-century Italian art, including “Pirandello. Le Nature morte” (2007), “Mario Ceroli” (2007), the 15th “Quadriennale di Roma” (2008), “Italia Contemporanea. Officina San Lorenzo” (2009), “Nuovi archivi del futurismo” (2010), “Gino Severini” (2011), “Anni ’70. Arte a Roma” (2013), “Burri. Lo spazio della materia tra Europa e USA” (2016), “Antonio Sanfilippo. Segno e immagine” (2016), and “Mimmo Rotella. Manifesto” (2018). In 2010, for MART, she co-curated, with Marco Rinaldi and Alessandra Tiddia, the catalogue raisonné of Gastone Novelli’s work, and has more recently edited a collection of his writings.
