Adriano Pedrosa
Adriano Pedrosa pursued studies in law and economics in Rio de Janeiro before delving into Art and Critical Writing at the California Institute of the Arts. His portfolio boasts contributions to renowned publications such as Artforum, Flash Art, Mousse, and Frieze, culminating in the prestigious 2023 Audrey Irmas Award for Curatorial Excellence from the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College in New York.
Assuming the role of Artistic Director at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand (MASP) since 2014, Pedrosa has steered the institution towards a deeper exploration of ethnography and anthropology.
