Esther Poon

Esther Poon maybe better known in the public eye as the ‘Yarn Bomber’ frequently seen around Central Hong Kong. 2013 marked the opening of Esther’s ‘knitter.esther’ knitting workshop in Fortress Hill. Her inspiration was to increase the accessibility and education of this fun and traditional craft to the younger generation, whilst also promoting ‘Yarn Bombing’ in Hong Kong.

Esther’s future ambition is to continue spreading the unique colour and joy that knitting and yarn bombing can bring to the vibrant city and citizens of Hong Kong.
