Raoul Schultz
Raoul Schultz (1931–1971) was a multifaceted Italian artist known for his work as a painter, illustrator, graphic designer, and set designer. Born on the island of Leros in Greece, he became a prominent figure in the Venetian art scene. Schultz was associated with the Venice School of painters and was a forerunner of Arte Povera and sign painting. He explored visual poetry through his “Lettere Anonime” (Anonymous Letters) series, incorporating these experimental approaches into glassware as well.
