Bruna Roccasalva

Bruna Roccasalva is the Artistic Director of Fondazione Furla. For the Furla Series programme, she has curated performances featuring Alexandra Bachzetsis, Simone Forti, Adelita Husni-Bey, Christian Marclay, and Paulina Olowska (2017–2018), as well as solo exhibitions by Haegue Yang (2018), Nairy Baghramian (2021), Andrea Bowers (2022), Suzanne Jackson (2023), and Kelly Akashi (2024).

She was Co-Director of Peep-Hole Art Center, which she co-founded in 2009, and Editor of Peep-Hole Sheet (2009–2016), a quarterly publication featuring artists’ writings. At Peep-Hole, she co-curated exhibitions by artists including Renata Lucas (2011), Gabriel Sierra (2013), Trisha Baga (2013), Uri Aran (2014), Paolo Icaro (2014), Ull Hohn (2015), Calvin Marcus (2015–16), Paolo Gioli (2016), and Formafantasma (2016).

She was Editor-in-Chief of L’Officiel Art (2017–2019) and Head of Publications at Mousse Publishing (2010–2011). From 2003 to 2009, she was Associate Curator at GAMeC – Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo, where she collaborated on solo and group exhibitions and contributed to several publications, including monographs on Alighiero Boetti, Getulio Alviani, and Giulio Paolini.

She also taught History of Contemporary Art at IED – Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan (2006).
