Salemy Mohammad

Mohammad Salemy is an independent NY-based artist, critic, and curator who holds an MA in critical curatorial studies from the University of British Columbia. He currently co-organizes The New Centre for Research & Practice, and has shown his works in Ashkal Alwan (Beirut) and Witte de With (Rotterdam).  He is also known for his writing and activism. His writings have been published in e-flux, Flash Art, Third Rail, and Brooklyn Rail.
He has curated exhibitions at Koerner Gallery at the University of British Columbia, as well as Satellite Gallery, Access Gallery, and Dadabase in Vancouver. He cocurated the Faces exhibition at the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery and in 2014 he organized the Incredible Machines conference, both in Vancouver.
