Marta Sforni
Marta Sforni (Milan, 1966) studied architecture in Venice and painting in Milan. She is an internationally renowned artist who made her debut in Helsinki and has since exhibited in London, Buenos Aires, New York City, Vienna, Berlin, and Zurich. In Italy, she has taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions in both private galleries and public institutions, and was selected for the “Eccellenti Pittori” award. Some of her paintings are part of the permanent collections of the Italian Embassy in Berlin and the Farnesina Collection in Rome.
After a long period living in Berlin, she is now based in Venice. Her lifelong artistic research is rooted in the great Flemish still-life tradition, devoted to transparency in painting and a constant sensitivity to beauty that transcends time.
