Shazeb Shaikh

With a focus on experimental practices as a curator, Shazeb Shaikh (b. 1983, Mumbai) has been engaged with The Academy of Electronic Arts (The AeA) in New Delhi, India since 2010. Serving as an Executive Trustee and Co-Curator with The AeA, he is part of a growing global multi-disciplinary community of over 3000 artists, scientists and performers. As an independent curator, Shazeb Shaikh has been exploring several questions in creating frameworks of inter-disciplinary artistic research and production. He was also actively involved in public space projects and was researching and developing sub-cultural practices in Mumbai.
