Troy Simmons

Born in Palestine, TX, 1975

Troy Simmons is a self-taught sculptor who works with a variety of material, including concrete, construction debris, steel, and aluminum. His sculptures are experiments with colour, material, and structure. 

His recent exhibits include Solo Shows at Volta (NYC), Artium Art (Miami), and JanKossen Contemporary (Chelsea, NY). Group Collaborations include Art Pairs (Paris, France) and Volta (Basel, Switzerland). Simmons has also exhibited at the Haitian Heritage Museum, Cornell Art Museum, Boca Museum of Art, and the Coral Gables Museum. He completed the Home & Away Residency at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in December 2020.
