Lives in México City
SITES (1994, México) is a multidisciplinary artist based in México City. Her nomadic and animistic practice allows her to initiate temporary contemplation environments, composing with a series of technological objects; aromas and fumes, portable spaces in which sound operates as an atmosphere that inhabits space, a lighting software that is syncretized with the geological, energetic and historical layers of the environment, evoking an archeology of signals that mark the entrance to an origin. Sites seeks to generate “Electroclimates” by interacting with hertzian space, the invisible and timeless architecture where electromagnetic waves and human experience coincide. Her work has been presented in individual and collective exhibitions in various spaces such as Peana (Monterrey), Museum of the City of Querétaro (Querétaro), MOMOROOM (CDMX), Cineteca Nuevo León (Monterrey), Vancouver f-o-r-m festival (Vancouver), Indie Rocks Forum (CDMX), Anahuacalli Museum (CDMX).
