Born in Rome in 1975, Francesco Stocchi has been the first non-Dutch curator of modern and contemporary art at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam since 2012. Previously he worked in Vienna, Basel and was a collaborator of Artforum. Since 2015 curator at the Carriero Foundation in Milan. He curated the Swiss Pavilion on the 59th Biennale di Venezia in 2022.
