Lai Yu Tong

Lai Yu Tong is a multi-disciplinary Singaporean artist. Using personal encounters as subjects of study, his practice investigates escapism and fulfillment. His works often begin as instructions to be performed, recorded and subsequently presented unusually in the form of obsessive and excessive documentations.

Lai Yu Tong is an artist whose practice examines banality and the weariness of everyday living. As an extension to his practice, the performance aims to materialise the experience of exhaustion and fatigue.
