Jovial Yeung

Jovial Yeung graduated in 2012 BA (Hons) in Visual Arts in Hong Kong and works in the media of glass, mixed media and installation.
She has a passion for experimentation with materials: her training in studio glass art combined with her experience in metalsmithing and antiques restoration, result in unique mixed media artworks, bi-dimensional or sculptural. In particular, the distinctive approach to flameworking she developed to make extremely thin glass pins and affix them on canvas requires a very high level of craftsmanship.
Jovial Yeung’s artworks are delicate and impeccably presented, yet they convey strong messages about personal life experiences and environmental issues.
