Fatiha Zemmouri

Visual artist born in 1966 in Casablanca, graduated at the School of Fine Arts in Casablanca, Fatiha Zemmouri is interested into raw materials such as coal, charred wood, ceramic and porcelain. The artist combines different techniques such as drawing, collage, painting or sculpture. Fatiha Zemmouri explores and transforms the material to give shape to poetic works that challenge us on our ambivalences and on our evolution and our participation in the universal consciousness.
Fatiha Zemmouri held several solo and group exhibitions in Morocco and abroad. Fatiha Zemmouri lives and works in Casablanca.
