MUAC was opened in 2008 in “University City” (Ciudad Universitaria), the main campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City.

Designed by prestigious Mexican architect, Teodoro González de León, the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC) is directed by Graciela de la Torre focuses on creating new dialogues of contemporary art.
The museum offers to its public a program which allows the interaction between global culture, theoretical debates and academics of the current art scene, the history of artistic production in Mexico in the last half century and the excel of the contemporary sensibility.

Thursday- Saturday: $40.00 and 50% discount to current students and teachers,UNAM, INAPAM and elders with valid ID; Wednesdays and Sundays: $20.00, no discounts, 2x1 current students; Free for children under 12, members of ICOM, AMPROM,CINAM and press with current IDs
