The historic house, museum and library of distinguished 19th century architect Sir John Soane.  At Soane’s request, the house has been left untouched since his death over 180 years ago. The Soane Museum showcases a collection of antiquities, furniture, sculptures, architectural models, paintings – including work by Hogarth, Turner and Canaletto – and over 30,000 architectural drawings.

The Museum offers free access to visitors and a programme of exhibitions, events as well as an extensive research library.
