Gloria Friedmann: En Chair Et En Os

Maison Européenne de la Photographie – MEP presents “En Chair Et En Os”, a solo exhibition by the artist and model Gloria Friedmann: posing with everyday objects, her naked body is a part of the composition, turning the frame into a playground of multiple possibilities. She develops black & white photos in her bathroom-cum-darkroom. She then paints over them with oil paints, creating a vibrant and colorful universe. This 1979 series comes with a figurative sculpture, specially made for this exhibit.
