Kunstsaele Berlin

The project space originates from the initiative of a varied coalition formed by the collector Geraldine Michalke, the collector Stephan Oehmen (until 2015), the gallerist Alexander Hahn, the artist Michael Müller and the curator Ellen Blumenstein.

The cultural programme of the space includes thematic group shows, monographic solo shows of rediscovered artists, artist talks, performances and collaborative events, supported by the local institutions. Over the past thirty years the collection has kept growing, ranging from Informal to minimalistic and conceptual art.
