Since 1969 Stampa gallery has been promoting international and Swiss contemporary art, including young and established art positions.

Founded by Gilli and Diego Stampa in 1969, the gallery has been promoting international and Swiss contemporary art, including initial presentations of Vito Acconci, John Baldessari, Miriam Cahn, Luis Camnitzer, Coop Himmelb(l)au, Marlene Dumas, Valie Export, General Idea, Jacques Herzog, Marcel Odenbach, Pipilotti Rist, Roman Signer, Gerda Steiner & Jörg Lenzlinger, Vivian Suter as well as Rosemarie Trockel in Switzerland.

The Stampa bookshop as an integral part of the gallery concept offers a specialised range of publications on art, photography and architecture as well as videos, artists’ books and editions.
