Galerie Nagel Draxler

Galerie Nagel Draxler (formerly Galerie Christian Nagel) was founded in Cologne in 1990 and operates in Cologne and Berlin. An emphasis lies on an established generation of artists, that has mainly been showing with the gallery since the beginning and whose work has been strongly influential for following generations. Nagel Draxler’s “mid career” artists take part in defining the artistic discourses of their times. With a young generation, comprising artists that sometimes have their first gallery presentation with Nagel Draxler, the gallery meets the challenges of tomorrow. Since 2011 Nagel Draxler has been exhibiting artists that struck their attention and who are at the very beginning of their careers in the REISEBÜROGALERIE (Travel Agency Gallery). 2016 Nagel Draxler Kabinett – the second exhibition space in Berlin – was opened, followed by a new gallery space in Cologne in 2018.
