Freijo
Freijo Gallery, founded in 2010, focuses on artists from different generations, mainly of Spanish and Latin American origin, whose work is defined by experimentation, formal and aesthetic rigour, and critical conceptual approaches.
Alongside representing mid-career artists, the gallery maintains a stock of works by historical figures, many acquired or produced since its early years, to emphasise active intergenerational connections.
Since 2019, its LZ46 programme has supported experimental curatorial projects, exploring new approaches to exhibition practice and fostering relationships with curators, artists, and collectors.
The gallery also develops editorial projects rooted in research and maintains an in-house library as a public research and documentation centre. Its activities are complemented by meetings, seminars, film screenings, talks, and conferences.
