Dep Art Gallery , founded by Antonio Addamiano in Milan on September 22nd, 2006, opened with a solo exhibition by Mario Nigro. The gallery’s name, an acronym for Distribution and Art Promotion, to the English word “depart”, reflects its commitment to fostering a distinct cultural direction. Its varied program focuses on both Italian and international artists, with particular attention to the work of the 1960s and 1970s, while also engaging with contemporary generations. The gallery aims to offer collectors the opportunity to build and preserve their collections over time, exploring a diverse range of artistic expressions.
