Museo Jumex Arte Contemporáneo

Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo was created to promote production, reflection and knowledge of contemporary art and to generate new proposals of cultural support.

Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 303, Colonia Granada

The Museo Jumex is the Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo’s main platform. It opened its doors to the public in November 2013 as an institution devoted to contemporary art, whose aim was not only to serve a broad and diverse public, but also to become a laboratory for experimentation and innovation in the arts.

The Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo, directed by Julieta Gonzalez, was established to foster the production and discussion of contemporary art, spreading information about it while finding innovative ways to promote art and culture. It accomplishes this through the Colección Jumex, the foundation’s art collection, and the Museo Jumex, a site for the exhibition and activation of contemporary art. The Fundación Jumex carry on its mission through programs of development, directed at supporting contemporary art practice and independent projects; and education, committed to helping visitors understand and appreciate contemporary art.
