The Petit Palais is an art museum in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France.

Built by Charles Girault for the 1900 Exposition Universelle, the Petit Palais stands between the Seine and the Champs-Élysées as part of one of Paris’s most impressive architectural ensembles. Since 1902, it has housed the City of Paris’s fine arts collections, enriched over the years through major acquisitions, bequests and donations. Its richly decorated interiors feature monumental paintings, sculptures, stained glass and intricate mosaics. Today, the museum combines its historic collections with a programme of major temporary exhibitions.
