BOX Freiraum
The space is born from the conversion of a former stable and hosts exhibitions and cultural events
Boxhagener Straße 93
BOX Freiraum is an exhibition space located in former horse stables, built by Wilhelm Magnus in 1893, used as a warehouse in the GDR and later as an antique shop. From 2008 on, the space was renovated thanks to the intervention of its founder, the architect Carolina Mojito. Under her direction, the space collaborates with artists and curators to the realisation of solo and group exhibitions, concerts and events, addressing at the same time important themes relating to identity, belonging, diversity and cultural exchange.
