South London Gallery

Founded 1891, is a public-funded gallery of contemporary art in Camberwell, London, directed by Margot Heller.

With its goal to ‘bring art to the people of South London’, the South London Gallery (SLG) was established in the 19th century by philanthropist William Rossiter and today it has become one of the capital’s leading contemporary visual art institutions. The SLG has an established reputation for its ground-breaking programme of contemporary art exhibitions, events and education projects for children, young people and adults.
