Since its foundation in 1999, Ateliê da Imagem is consolidating itself as a major reference in Brazilian education and production of photography and contemporary image.

Besides working as a free school for images, Ateliê da Imagem is notable for its cultural production, promoting various activities “inside and outside the house”, as the Free Friday Project, exhibitions at the Ateliê Gallery, seminars and lectures with curators and consultants.
