Instituto Moreira Salles (IMS), São Paulo

The Instituto Moreira Salles (IMS) is a non-profit organization which distinguishes itself for its diffused presence on three Brazilian states, with cultural centers in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Poços de Caldas.

The different seats constitute an integrated network of cooperation to the same goals, namely to promote cultural projects in the photography, literature, libraries, visual arts and Brazilian music fields.

The center located in São Paulo opened its doors in 2017 at a new address, moving from the previous one in the Higienópolis neighborhood. Reinforcing in this way its presence in São Paulo, the new structure counts nine floors, with 1200m2 dedicated to expositions, a movie theatre, a library, a bookshop and a restaurant.
