Private Collections

Julia Stoschek Collection

Founded in 2016 in the Mitte district, Julia Stoschek Collection in Berlin is the second location for this contemporary art private collection

Leipziger Strasse 60

The Julia Stoschek Collection is a private collection of contemporary international art, which gathers more than 750 artworks by primarily European and US artists. The collection grows steadily keeping a special focus on the moving image in art from the 1960s on and covering several disciplines such as video, single and multiple projections of analog and digital film material, multimedia environments, computer and Internet- based installations, but also ephemeral art forms, such as performances.

The centre has two locations, the first one in Dusseldorf and the most recent one in Berlin, and is the first German private collection open to the public in two spaces at once.
