The Rubell Museum opened in Miami’s Allapattah neighbourhood in December 2019. Its new home was previously six interconnected industrial buildings that were transformed by Selldorf Architects. Originally launched in 1993 as the Rubell Family Collection/Contemporary ArtsFoundation, the foundation was renamed the Rubell Museum to underscore its commitment to growing as a public resource.
The museum is made up of 36 gallery spaces on a single level, with 65% dedicated to long-term installations and 35% to special exhibitions, all drawn from the collection. It also includes a flexible performance space, an extensive research library, a bookstore and an indoor-outdoor Basque restaurant LEKU, that opens onto a courtyard garden.

Monday, November 29: 10:00 am – 4:30 pm, Tuesday, November 30 to Thursday, December 2: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Friday & Saturday, December 3-4: 10:00 am -7:30 pm, Sunday, December 5: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
