Cogito, un aperitivo per la mente

Organised by Francesca and Alberto Tasca d’Almerita, Cogito is an observatory of reflection on reality and on contemporary cultural phenomena. A “social defibrillator” based on optimism, on the enhancement of the common good. Starting from the Cartesian expression cogito ergo sum, the certainty that man has of himself as a thinking subject, Cogito aims at a shared critical reasoning, a “thinking together” within spaces of comparison and growth. That’s why he cogita together: in convivial spaces, in conversation with writers, journalists, intellectuals, artists, scientists, professionals of the world, through audiovisual projections, theatrical performances, exhibitions and tastings. Cogito intends to involve schools, universities and associations. Dubium sapientiae initium: it is only with the doubt that knowledge begins.
