Per Barclay’s oil chamber contains the image of “the other by itself”. The interweaving of the real geometries and their reflection in the black liquid, both formally and conceptually play the “double” symbology, in both philosophical and optical terms. The work is a reflection on the present time, and technically translates into a complex work that has as its protagonist the dialogue between the architecture of space, so articulate and rigorous and the possibilities of a language that is the stylistic code of Per Barclay.
