Trayectos 2025
Trayectos is an initiative by Proyectos Públicos that proposes a new way to discover Mexico City’s Art Week, mapping out an alternative cultural route that connects five unique venues in Juárez, Tabacalera, Roma, and San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhoods. This route is enriched by recommendations from over 20 artists and creatives, guiding visitors to unexpected moments and lesser-known corners of the city.
The Five Spaces of Trayectos
From 4 to 9 February, during Art Week in Mexico City, Trayectos presents five key venues showcasing cultural richness and interdisciplinary creativity. These spaces explore art and architecture in unique contexts, reflecting the vibrant energy of one of the city’s most important weeks.
1. Prim 30 and 32: “Salón Acme, 12th Edition”
This venue serves as a focal point for contemporary art during Art Week. Salón ACME hosts an exhibition featuring emerging and established artists alongside renowned galleries. The state of Veracruz is the guest, presenting a special showcase of its cultural and artistic heritage.
Addresses: General Prim 30, Juárez; General Prim 32, Juárez
2. Barcelona: “Misrepresented Landscapes Edition”
Curated by David Miranda in collaboration with Proyectos Públicos, this platform explores artistic language that transcends conventional contemporary art circuits.
The exhibition, “Landscapes,” features artists such as Avelino Hernández, Marcela Rico, and Yolanda Paulsen, presenting diverse interpretations of the landscape as an artistic genre. This includes works that reimagine natural landscapes or delve into digital and conceptual realms.
The programme also includes artist talks, guided tours, and interactive activities, aiming to foster meaningful dialogue about contemporary artistic practices. A pop-up gastronomic experience by Fugaz complements the exhibition.
Address: Barcelona 26, Juárez
3. Hotel Reforma: “Lo intangible proyectado sobre lo inmutable”
In collaboration with xpan, this historic building is transformed through sound, light, shadow, and architecture. Projections and delicate structures create unexpected connections, reimagining the space through ephemeral elements.
Address: París 32, Tabacalera
4. Casa Margarita: “Galería Hablada y Otras Historias”
This historic manor hosts an interdisciplinary programme exploring literature, art, and performance, with a focus on spoken word. Highlights include interactive installations, performances, and a children’s narrative workshop.

5. Rebollar: “Los Grandes Proyectos & Las Pequeñas Acciones”
Architecture Gallery presents the creative processes of architect Alberto Kalach through his notebooks, spanning 35 years. Pages are updated daily, offering a constantly evolving display.
Additionally, LAAA Biblioteca presents “PRAXIS,” an archive of architect Agustín Hernández Navarro’s personal library, marking the 50th anniversary of the PRAXIS studio.
