Photography: Document and Transcendence of the Visible World

Photographer and PhD in Antrophology Milton Guran (b. 1948, Rio de Janeiro) presents the workshop Photography: Document and Transcendence of the Visible World, on November 14th, divided in two sessions of three hours each: from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and to 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

From conceptualizing an image to the act of photographing, from the objective record to the subjective representation in photography, Guran will discuss many of the issues that surround contemporary photography, while offering the participants practical and conceptual references to enhance their own photographic languages, expression and technique.

Participants should be registered in advance at the Ateliê da Imagem and will be required to pay an entering fee of R$ 290.
