Clarissa Tossin: Circumnavigation Towards Exhaustion
La Kunsthalle Mulhouse presents Circumnavigation jusqu’à épuisement (Circumnavigation towards exhaustion), an exhibition by the Brazilian artist Clarissa Tossin.
Starting from the fires destroying forests in Summer 2019 and 2020, Clarissa Tossin, invites us to reflects on the world we are building and leaving to posterity. Through her sculptures, photographs, and installations, Tossin concentrates on human responsibilities but without judging and paying attention to possible solutions.
In Circumnavigation Towards Exhaustion, Clarissa Tossin investigates issues which, like materials and ideas, circulate from one end of the world to the other, ultimately affecting every one of us, even in our daily lives.
Her work question us about what are the implications for the future from economy to ecology investigating on resources and transformations.
