Rafael Moreno: The World

“The World” explores the chaotic nature of existence through rotating objects, paper skyscrapers, and mannequin figures. Marking Rafael Moreno’s first solo exhibition at an art centre in France, the presentation features a series of new productions on the first floor of CRAC Alsace.

Comprising sculptures, installations, collages, poems, and films, the works display a patchwork, DIY appearance made from found objects. These pieces address the distinction between human and machine, the fictional nature of gender, and the debt system. Connecting to inaccessible areas like the attic, the project acts as an immense brain recycling lived experiences.
